Daan De Marrée, was born and raised in Leuven, Belgium.

He started playing ultimate with Belgium’s club, Jetset, before moving in 2021 to the Mooncatchers. Daan is the first-ever player to be selected back-to-back as Ultiworld European Men’s Player of the Year (2023 and 2024).

Daan is a competitive player who doesn’t like to lose. He takes this mindset to the Union for the 2025 season, his first season with the Team and the UFA.
